2018 UMass Student Leadership Summit – ITE Northeastern & Mid-Colonial Districts

Three of our ITE members were able to attend the UMass Student Leadership Summit last spring located in Amherst, Massachusetts. It was the first SLS held within the ITE Northeastern/Mid-Colonial Districts and it was an absolute pleasure supporting UMass in their endeavor by attending.

Oregon State has faculty ties with UMass – Amherst so it was great for our students to experience that. Topics at the conference surrounded career development and leadership skills. All in all, it was very exciting to hear from many long time members like ITE International Vice President Bruce Belmore on how they want to invest in students and how important our participation and collaboration is to the organization!
