Here’s your sign! Adopt-a-Highway an OSU ITE tradition
This term’s Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup was a success! Nine students and one faculty member participated on Saturday, May 20th as we cleaned up our two mile section of Highway 34, collecting 22 bags of trash The Oregon Department of Transportation provides the trash bags, reflective vests, roadside warning signs, and “pickers”. The Oregon State section of ITE has consistently cleaned this section of roadway; we do it almost every term. It has been a great way to give back to the Corvallis community and we will continue to do it for years to come. Everyone finished up the morning with some good pizza at DeMaggio’s in downtown Corvallis as we socialized into the afternoon.
A special thank you to all that participated. Please join us in the next event and get your picture in the newsletter!
