American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATTSA) Convention

Cameron Bennett, former Social Chair, represented the Oregon State ITE Traffic Control Device Challenge (TCDC) team at the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Convention in New Orleans. ATSSA gathers more than 3,500 industry professionals each year to showcase cutting edge transportation safety treatments and technologies in an impressive exhibit hall. The top 3 teams from the TRB TCD Challenge were invited to share a 10 minute presentation of their projects at the ATSSA booth and answer questions from industry professionals. The OSU “Connected” Temporary Traffic Control Devices proposal was well received for its thoroughness and simplicity. The question session generated some great conversation and iteration for the project!
