ITE Member attends Future Leaders Development Conference
Since 1993, the Eno Center for Transportation has held Future Leaders Development Conference (LDC) on an annual basis. This conference attempts to bring some of the best and brightest graduate students in transportation to the nation’s capital to gain a better understanding of how U.S. transportation policy is crafted. Each university and college with a transportation program is invited to nominate one student each year; the Center’s Board of Regents review the nominations and select the participants for the program.
This year, Masoud Ghodrat Abadi, a PhD Candidate in Transportation Engineering from OSU CCE was selected, along with 19 other graduate students from across the country, to attend the Eno Future LDC 2017. Conference was a 5-day event held in June 2017 in Washington DC. where Masoud met several federal officials and business leaders. During a visit to Capitol Hill, Masoud sat down with two former secretaries of transportation.
