ITE Officer Wins Big!

Congratulations! Ph.D. student and ITE VP Jason Anderson received the Federal Highway Administration 2017 Excellence in Highway Safety Data Award Paper Competition award for his paper titled Heavy-Vehicle Driver Injury Severity Analysis by Time of Week: A Mixed Logit Approach Using HSIS Crash Data. “Receiving any paper award is an incredible honor, but for me, winning through ITE is extra special,” said Anderson. “ITE is the core of our profession and receiving this honor from my future peers is an unbelievable feeling. I also want to thank Shangjia Dong for collaborating with me on this work.”
