2018 ITE Western District Meeting, Keystone, CO

Students who attended the Western District Meeting networked with regional leaders in transportation engineering and were given the opportunity to listen to these leaders present on the topics such as transportation safety and emerging technologies.

The OSU ITE traffic bowl team (Joe, Kayla, Cadell, Erick) won 2nd place. Congrats to underdogs Cal State Fullerton to getting 1st place and pulling the upset against Cal Poly SLO in the semi-finals!

The OSU ITE chapter was presented with a number of awards at the event, including Kayla Fleskes, the Western District Graduate Student of the year! 

Next year’s meeting will be in Monterey, CA. If you’re interested in attending, make sure to get in touch and get involved with ITE on campus! There will be scholarship opportunities to attend a
number of conferences and educational events throughout the year! This will offer you a fantastic way to get more involved and further your knowledge and professional presences in transportation.
